Introduction to: The Thin Line between Love and Hate
This is the first story I have written about Pride & Prejudice. There will be more, I am sure. It is a modern story with a Shakespearean twist. Basically Darcy and Lizzie were friends in the past, but Darcy thoughtlessly said that Lizzie was not pretty enough to date. Lizzie heard this bit of information and saw red, naturally. Darcy has been living in the US for the passed 12 years, but is now back to run the family business office in Meryton. Lizzie has yet to forgive him.
Sneak peak:
Chapter 1: The Boys are Back in Town
Their fragile friendship began when William Darcy welcomed Elizabeth Bennet to primary school by tugging on her pony tails on first recess. Elizabeth repaid the courtesy by slapping his face. Needless to say they did not see eye to eye on much. Elizabeth and William had been known for their constant quarrelling and hardly a day had gone by without either one of them ending up crying because the other had been too rough on the other.
They had been considered quite good friends throughout their school years and everybody thought that the playful quarrels would turn into love at some point, but that didn’t happen. The main reason was perhaps because William was dating every other girl in school but Elizabeth, or perhaps they really didn’t fancy each other.
But why did not Elizabeth Bennet like William Darcy when it was clear that every other girl in school adored him and would do anything for a date with him? Well, the answer was quite simple. He was constantly bugging her and because he was older and therefore, and at least according to him always right and had to win every single argument. But the reason why she ended their so called friendship was because of something she accidentally heard him say to friend.
“She’s ok I suppose, but not pretty enough to tempt me,” William had said to a friend at his 16th birthday party when asked why he had not dated Elizabeth. Those words were very hurtful to a young lady of 14’s fragile self esteem. It was not that she wanted to date him. She just wanted the pleasure of seeing his face when she turned him down. She poured her drink over him, left and had been avoiding him ever since. Was she forced to speak to him she did it with a high dosage of disdain. She had not even been to his farewell party two years later.
After graduating William Darcy and his family had moved overseas to expand the family business and had been gone and forgotten for ten years at least. One would think that the quarrels of the past are long forgotten and forgiven, but that is seldom the case…
So far there is 21 full chapter published and Chapter 22 is well on the way. Will probably update later this week.

Reviews of the story:
Goldilocks 92: Hi thankyou so much for the story- I love the mixture of much ado about nothing with pride and prejudice- I always though how alike they were and how well they'd do together!
My only critique would be that I feel you need to stick to one style- in some parts your tone is old fashioned in other parts it is very modern.
Otherwise I think its well written, very enjoyable and I absolutely can't wait for the next chapter!
mrdarcylover: i adore this story already and i can't say that about many fanfics. i would love to be your beta, but unfortunatly i am not qualified. i found it interesting how youv'e made them past friends who have grown apart. i think this fic will be a fun one to read.
update soon please!

Change of Blogname
So I changed the name of this blog from Jakeline's FanFiction to just Jakeline's Fiction. I just realised I might just publish fiction that aren't really fanfiction, just merely inspired. I thought it was best. Oh, well, not too many people have found me, so I guess that's ok. :)

Introduction to: Love: Lost and Found
This is a story based on Young Americans, but set in the "future", 10 years after graduation. Jake never told Hamilton who she really was. I started writing this story years ago, when JaHammers were found everywhere. It was only a couple of years ago when I found it again and started assembling the pieces, adding and distracting as I went. I have yet to finish it. It's been on hold for over a year *blushes*, but I have recently picked it up again, and will hopefully post the next chapter soon.
Chapter 1: Bittersweet memories
A laugh floated over the bar. A laugh that reminded him so much of someone he used to know. Someone he hadn’t let himself think about for many years. An image of a boy on a motorcycle flickered before his eyes. Jake. They had been best friends through high school. One night had changed it all. Hamilton shook the memory away. It was too painful.
Hamilton Fleming was in London for a photo shoot. For the past five years he had been traveling the world as a freelance photographer. He knew he was good. All the major magazines were screaming for him, but he was not ready to settle down for just one magazine yet. He was content with the life he led at the moment. It was filled with glamour, charity events, cocktail parties and gorgeous girls. He was in the top ten of America’s most wanted bachelors. But Hamilton stayed single. He was still looking for that one. He knew she was out there somewhere.

Thoughts about the story:
kaleisiAddict: ok. this is definately one of the most original and well written YA fanfics. please update soon!! i absolutely loved it!
White-Lily-Blossom: Of course they can't stop thinking about each other even though it's been 10 years... They're soul-mates, they belong together, there's no escaping that, guys!Yes, so I continued the story and have written 21 complete chapters.
This is really good. It's so nice that someone is still writing for this fandom (except me, 'new beginnings' and Nickie, of course). And it's really well-done so far (even though there's so little!). A truly intriguing idea. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Introduction to: I Remember Love
I Remember Love is a continuation of the movie Becoming Jane. As I had wanted it to end. Of course, messing with history is not easy, but I cried my eyes out when Tom and Jane did not end up together (even though I knew they wouldn't). So, with Tom and Jane talking away in my head and the song I remember love by Sarah Dawn Finer in my ears I started scribbling on a story.
It is, as stated before, a continuation of the story. A kind of alternate universe. What could happen if they happened to find themselves in each other's company again. And with Tom's daughter being an avid admirer of Jane Austen's work and very curious about her father's former relationship with said authoress.
A sneakpeak:
Seeing him that evening had brought back all the feelings and memories she thought she had repressed forever. Now they came bubbling up to the surface again. Once again she began questioning her actions and choices of that dreadful day all those years ago. The look on his face when she left, it had broken her heart. It was for the best, she had thought then. She had to be the sensible one. But had it been the right decision? He was now married, had been so for quite some time, and lived happily in Ireland with a large family and had a fine law career. Life had been good to him. She had been following his progress in secrecy. Not that her own life had turned out bad. She led a small life, valuable but small. She was a rather successful author. Her latest novel had been published the year before and now she found it hard to remain anonymous. There had been a time when she had doubted her writing abilities. It had been a Christmas holiday many years ago, and a certain gentleman from Ireland had entered her home, taking her by storm and changed her life forever.
This was the first story I published at fanfiction.net. I had only written for a more private audience before (a Young Americans' fangroup called JaHammers [Jake & Hamilton]). As always you are worried about what people might think and react. I was eagerly awaiting reviews and very disappointed when it took some time. Then I realised the time difference. And a few hours later the first reviews were in:

One thing I have noticed when I write is that the story kind of writes itself. The characters really live their own little life, and often doesn't behave the way I had planned. Tom and Jane, for example, was so much more obstinate than I had imagined.
I think the major difficulty for me is that English is not my first language, and though I fancy myself pretty good, the grammar is not always as it should be. But I hope my readers can overlook those errors and look to the story itself. :)

its a fresh idea from all the pretty much same story line i have been reading.
People should write more of these after the story type I mean its kinda getting annoying that i always see the same story line I mean why not do something fresh new and exiting.
Well you have my vote to continue and i will be waiting for the next chappies
[...]I am going to be completely honest in the fact that I skimmed your story the first time through because I didn't believe that this was different from all the other Becoming Jane stories I have read in the fact that they are reunited and live happily ever after in some alternate universe (nothing against you!) due to some stroke of luck. Or they just pine over the times they were together. You combine the two, however, making it seem plausible that there is a story that isn't cheesy, or meloncholy, but rather hopefully bittersweet. I commend you. I obviously went back to the beginning to read it word for word and absorb everything the second time through. :)And more like them came. Now I have written 42 complete chapters and are well on the way of chapter 43, the last one. It feels a bit sad of course, to let a story end. I have actually tried to end it earlier, but my dear readers rallied against it, and I was only too happy to oblige.
In this first chapter, I like how you start where the movie left the audience. The continuation is great. It's also rather ironic that Tom's daughter has such a deep curiousity for Miss Austen. The memories definitely rise in up in the starcrossed lovers, but they don't come off as stammering teenagers around each other, rather learned adults, as they should be (in my opinion). I really like how you played the scene out. :)

Sleepless in Seattle
I just watched Sleepless in Seattle. I haven't seen it for ages, and now I sit here with a huge silly smile on my face. I just love it. A thougth hit me. Wouldn't this make a great Lizzie/Darcy story? I think so... I might just have to scribble a little. We'll see what happens.
I really should finish what I have started first. I'm well on my way with I Remember Love, only one chapter and perhaps epilogue to go. It's kind of sad really. It's been with me for so long, but I can't milk it any longer. All good stories must come to an end... It's just the way life is...

Pride & Prejudice as a newsfeed on Facebook? Yep, someone's made one. Check it out. It's fun!
About me
Well, I am a 29 years old woman, God woman sounds so old, from Sweden. I have been writing fan fiction for 10 years, but took a break for a couple of years. So far I have published three of my stories at Fan Fiction.net. I have a bunch going on, but not really anything fit to publish yet.
I have a son who turns 1 tomorrow. Big step. Me and my darling since, almost, 7 years, got married last autumn. We met on the net through his brother. I blame my now brother in law for everything! ;)
So far, I have written stories about Becoming Jane, Young Americans, and Pride & Prejudice. If you scroll down you will find links to all of these. I will also post something about every story I have published later.
